Aarhus Airport
Aarhus Airport (AAR) is the international airport on Djursland, northeast of Aarhus. It serves East Jutland and is an arrival point for Aarhus city, the Djursland peninsula and neighbouring destinations such as Randers. Its location is useful for visitors combining a city stay with time along the coast or in the surrounding countryside.
The airport offers scheduled passenger flights and seasonal holiday connections. Although it carries the Aarhus name, it is outside the city, so allow for the journey between the terminal and your accommodation.
Airport bus services provide a connection with Aarhus, and other public-transport options serve the surrounding region. Journeys towards Randers can involve a change, so check the complete itinerary for your arrival time. A road transfer may be more practical for accommodation away from the main public-transport routes. This airport is separate from the seaplane terminal at Aarhus harbour; check the departure point carefully if your booking is for a city-centre seaplane service.
