Læsø Airport

Læsø Airport (BYR), locally called Læsø Flyveplads, is a small airfield north of Byrum on the island of Læsø. It provides a passenger arrival point close to the island's centre and is useful for visitors who prefer to fly rather than make the entire journey by road and ferry.

Copenhagen AirTaxi operates services linking Læsø with Roskilde, with some journeys also serving Anholt. Frequencies vary by season, so check the timetable for the exact date you want to travel. The airfield also accommodates private flying.

The facilities are on the scale of an island airfield, and onward arrangements are worth making before arrival. Bicycle hire can be arranged at the airfield, offering a way to continue around Læsø; confirm availability and luggage arrangements with the provider. Follow the airline's baggage limits and booking instructions, and allow some flexibility in an itinerary involving small-aircraft flights and island weather.
