Egilsstaðir Airport

Egilsstaðir Airport is beside Egilsstaðir and is the main air gateway to East Iceland. It is useful for the town, the lake and forest district inland, and road journeys over to the Eastfjords, including Seyðisfjörður.

Car rental, taxis and public-transport information are available through the airport. Check the full onward route, particularly when crossing a mountain pass or connecting with a ferry.
