Lakselv Airport, Banak

Lakselv Airport at Banak is beside Lakselv at the head of Porsangerfjorden. It is an air gateway to Porsanger and the inland route toward Karasjok, with longer road journeys also possible toward the North Cape.

Rental cars are available, and arranged transfers can be useful for accommodation outside Lakselv. Check the actual driving distance and winter road conditions when planning the rest of the trip. The North Cape is not a short local transfer; Honningsvåg has a separate, smaller airport nearer the attraction.
