Ørland Airport has a civilian passenger terminal at Brekstad alongside Ørland's military air base. It provides an air gateway to the Fosen peninsula and its coastal communities, distinct from Trondheim Airport at Værnes.
Arrange your transfer from the civilian terminal to Brekstad or your accommodation. If continuing by express boat, check the separate sailing and ground-transfer arrangements. The fjord separates Fosen from Trondheim, so a short distance on the map should not be treated as a short road journey.
