Kalmar centralstation
Kalmar centralstation is a compact railway arrival point on Kvarnholmen, close to the streets and waterfront of central Kalmar. It is useful for a city stay and as a place to change from rail to road transport for Öland. The island has no passenger railway, so a train ticket to Kalmar does not complete the journey to accommodation across the bridge.
Check the onward bus or pickup arrangements for the particular town or village you are visiting. Leave a comfortable connection when continuing beyond central Kalmar, especially with luggage or a late arrival. Use current train information for platform changes and any replacement transport.
