Rådasjöns naturreservat

Rådasjöns naturreservat

Overview

Rådasjöns naturreservat protects the lake, shoreline woods, open pasture, and broadleaf forest around Rådasjön beside Mölnlycke. It is one of the easiest places near town to combine nature, cultural history, and a relaxed lakeside walk.

Why Go

Visit for shoreline views, spring flowers, old oaks, swimming weather, and the estate landscape around Råda Säteri. The reserve works for short walks as well as slower picnic stops.

Best Time To Visit

Spring is strong for woodland flowers, summer for swimming and picnics, and autumn for color. Winter visits can be beautiful, but paths and lakeside areas may be slippery.

Getting Around

The reserve is close to Mölnlycke and can be reached from local stops near Råda Säteri, followed by walking.

Practical Notes

Respect the reserve rules, especially around camping, fires, motor vehicles, and plants. Use prepared fire places only where they are provided.
