Stockholm Västerås Airport is southeast of Västerås beside Lake Mälaren. It is useful for Västerås and the western Mälaren region, while its Stockholm branding also attracts travelers continuing to the capital. It is a separate airport from Arlanda, Bromma and Skavsta.
Check the bus and road-transfer options for your exact arrival. A trip to central Stockholm takes considerably longer than a transfer to Västerås.
