Kolarin rautatieasema

Kolarin rautatieasema

Kolarin rautatieasema is a night-train gateway to western Finnish Lapland, useful for holidays in Ylläs and for onward travel to Levi. The resorts are reached by a further road journey; neither is beside the railway platform. Some services also carry vehicles, allowing travelers to continue independently after unloading.

Arrange the appropriate connecting bus or pickup for your accommodation and check that it matches your train's operating date. The waiting hall opens on days when trains run, and the ticket machine is inside it. The station has no luggage lockers. If bringing a vehicle, follow the separate instructions for the loading area at the northern end of the station.
