Helsinki Airport

Helsinki Airport is in Vantaa and is Finland's main international air hub. It serves Helsinki and the capital region, with rail and coach connections supporting onward travel across southern Finland. A domestic connection to another part of the country is a separate flight, not a local ground transfer.

Commuter trains connect the airport with central Helsinki, and buses, taxis and rental cars offer other options. Check the ticket needed for your journey and the location of any onward station or coach stop. For a Helsinki city stay, public transport is often the most practical arrival option.
