Bodø Airport

Bodø Airport is beside Bodø, making it a convenient gateway to the city and the Salten region. It also serves travelers continuing by boat toward the coast and islands. The terminal, city center, railway station and harbors are separate places, even though the distances within Bodø are relatively short.

Local buses, taxis and rental cars provide onward travel. Check the transfer and sailing time carefully if continuing to Lofoten or another island. A flight arrival does not guarantee a same-day ferry connection, particularly outside the main season.
