Helsingin päärautatieasema

Helsingin päärautatieasema

Helsingin päärautatieasema is Helsinki's central railway station, bringing long-distance and commuter trains into the heart of the city. The granite building, clock tower and lantern-bearing statues make it a recognizable meeting point as well as a transport interchange. Local public transport connects the station with neighborhoods and other arrival terminals.

Check the platform before boarding and allow time to reach tracks farther from the main hall. A ferry departure requires a separate transfer to the terminal named on your ticket. The station has ticket services and luggage lockers. Car-carrier loading for Helsinki takes place at Pasila, so drivers should follow their booking's loading instructions rather than heading to the central concourse.
